Jay Wolke

Jay Wolke è artista ed educatore che vive a Chicago Illinois (usa). Autore di tre monografie fotografiche: All Around the House: Photographs of American – Jewish Communal Life (Istituto d’Arte Chicago, 1998), Along the Divide: Photographs of the Dan Ryan Espressway (Center of American Places, 2004) and Architecture of Resignation: Photographs from the Mezzogiorno(Center for American Places– Columbia College Press, 2011).

Le sue opere fotografiche sono state esposte in mostre internazionalie fanno parte delle collezioni permanenti  del Whitney Museum of American Art, del MOMA di New York, dell’Art Institute di Chicago, del MOMA di San Francisco e in altre istituzioni museali. Wolke ha frequentato la Washington University, la Saint Luis (BFA) e L’ Insitute  of Design, IIT (MS). Attualmente è Professore di Cattedra dell, Art and design Department, Columbia College Chicago
